Frequently Asked Questions

  • What do we need to bring?

It is good practice to have your own personal Yoga equipment and to bring it with you to every class. This is for hygiene benefits, but mainly because your mat becomes your sacred space, being immersed in your Yoga practices both within the classes and at home for personal practice. The moment you land on your mat, you connect even deeper with your practice, you step into your zone.

You will need to please bring :~
    Yoga Mat
    2 Blankets/throws
    Yoga Bolster or Pillow
Small Cushion for seated Meditation (chairs also available)
Eye Pillow (if preferred for Nidra relaxations)
    Bottle of Water
Warm Heart and Big Smile for One and All

    * Beginners note ~ if you would like to borrow a Yoga mat for your first few classes, spares are available ~ please let Harshani Ma know, so there are enough.
    * If you would like any guidance on where to invest in your own Yoga equipment do please contact Harshani Ma for guidance on quality etc.

  • Is this class suitable during pregnancy?

Yoga is unsuitable during the first trimester of Pregnancy. I would recommend after that period that you join a specialised Pregnancy Yoga class, to gain the most benefit within a group setting.
